Are you looking for a place to craft your performances in front of a supportive collective of peers?
Would you like to actually enjoy performing?
Are you craving real-time, in-person feedback on your work?
(the collective) MUSIC LAB is a weekly event designed to bring people together to workshop their performances.
Whether it's original music or audition material (the collective) MUSIC LAB is a safe and encouraging environment for vocalists, singer/songwriters and musical performers of all ages & music genres to work through their material - all guided by professional performance coaches, accompanists & industry guests.
You will leave each night a more joyful, calm & confident performer...and person.
Experiencing, observing and discussing all the subtle nuances of expression that make us human and bring our most authentic selves to the surface truly sets (the collective) MUSIC LAB apart as not just a coaching program for performance but a coaching program for Life.

with Renee Bang

Ages: 11 - 17
Fridays 5-7pm
March 21, 2025 - April 18, 2025
In this course your child will discover the unique approaches needed for performing both on stage and screen - whether it's an audition, an interview or a zoom call - performing or speaking in front of people can bring up a lot of feelings. This course is designed to make your kid a more joyful, calm & confident speaker or performer and bring out their most authentic self in any situation.
They will also learn how to break down a scene, speech or song to get their message across intelligently and effectively using performing arts training. Included in their course of study will be:
- Improvisational play
- Theatre games
- Script analysis
- Song analysis
- Theatrical & film terminology
- Framing techniques
- Lighting techniques
- Sound techniques
- Sight-line techniques
All levels. Ages 11-17.
Class size is limited to 10 participants.
