Is your child a budding musical performance artist?

This course is designed for the musical theatre beginner looking for solid musical theatre technique and training. Taught by Broadway professional, Renée Bang, your student will flourish under her enthusiastic coaching!

In this class your child will discover the unique approaches needed for performing musically on stage. Since performing in front of people - especially singing - can bring up a lot of feelings, this course is designed to make your child a more joyful, calm & confident singer and performer using targeted mindset techniques and hacks to bring out their most authentic self in any situation.

They will also learn how to break down a song both musically and theatrically to get their message across intelligently and effectively using musical theatre training. Included in their course of study will be:

back-story and moment-before exploration

song analysis, vocal technique,musical terminology,rehearsal technique

movement and expression

From there they will also learn the unique subtleties required to create compelling and believable musical characters for their auditions & performances including:  musical nuance for singers and subtleties of expression

All two hour classes include a full body & vocal warmup which is followed by individual and/or group work. Class size is limited to 10 participants to ensure everyone gets at least 10 minutes of coaching work. Ages 8-16

Observing, discussing and experiencing all the subtle nuances of movement and expression that make us human and bringing​ our most authentic selves to the surface truly sets this class apart as not only a coaching program for performance but a coaching program for Life.
